In March the time came for the Mansfeld lab to pack the backpacks and enjoy the spring with a hike in the beautiful Swiss Saxony!
By train we all went together to Wehlen, where we first visited the famous Schwedenloecher and afterwards the lovely Rauenstein. Luckily the weather was nice enough to have picnic outside and enjoy the beautiful view :-)
Later in the evening we met again for a dinner where we celebrated the successful 1st year TAC of Julia and concluded the day in a relaxed atmosphere with vegan food and fancy cocktails!
Sadly, this has been the last day for a while, when all of us could be together as the next day the labs were closed due to the emerging Covid-19 pandemic...
