Redox Signalling in Physiology, Ageing and Disease 2019

In the beginning of July Dilyana and Kristyna, both awarded by a Student Member Bursary from the Biochemical Society, went to Newcastle to present their projects at the conference on "Redox Signalling in Physiology, Ageing and Disease". Dilyana gave an exciting talk on how to detect endogenously produced ROS in living cells and how mitochondrial ROS might regulate cell cycle progression. Kristyna presented her story about NOX4-produced ROS and its impact on Cell cycle progression as a poster presentation. Both, talk and the poster, got big attention and valuable discussion. Moreover, Kristyna's poster got awarded by a Poster Prize from Biochemical Society. Well done, both of you :-)
